Top Favorite Face Palettes

Hey y’all, sorry for the looooong absence. It’s a new year a new year and I wanted to get back in the groove of things! I wanted to write about my top face palettes which include palettes that I could use every day. Unfortunately, there are two that are not available anymore but regardless they are still my favorites.

  • Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette

Anybody who follows the makeup/YouTube community probably knows who Jaclyn Hill is, so of course I am a HUGE fan. I bought Champagne Pop when it first came out as a solo but when I heard there was going to be a whole new palette I knew I had to have it. This palette includes Champagne Pop and Prosecco Pop, which are both Jaclyn’s creations, as well as 3 blushes. I am not sure if she also had a part in creating the blushes but they are exclusive to this palette. I love the highlighters because they are so beautiful and creamy and I can’t live without the Amaretto blush. The blushes are extremely pigmented and very easy to blend. I especially love it when I travel because I get two of my favorite highlighters, three blushes and a nice mirror. I saw on TrendMood’s Instagram that Becca might be bringing it back, not sure, but if they do be sure to snatch it up.

  • Anastasia Beverly Hills “That Glow” Glow Kit

If you’ve been following my blog for a while you probably know how much I love ABH. I mentioned this palette in a previous post when talking about ABH and I probably will never fall out of love with this palette. Highlights are amazing quality, super blendable, very pigmented, etc. The only down side is that it’s been discontinued by ABH and there’s no word yet if the highlighters are going be released individually anytime soon.

  • Morphe 9N Naturally Blushed Palette ($19.99)

This blush palette is absolutely amazing! You have your pinks, peaches and corals, from bright to muted, from matte to glittery, you get everything. Perfect for traveling or if you’re a freelancer because you can get so many uses out of this palette. Every day when I do my makeup I have to convince myself to use other blushes because I always find myself reaching for this palette. I love that the blushes are extremely pigmented, not powdery and super blendable. You can buy it here.

  • e.l.f. Cosmetics Contour Palette ($6)

Now here’s a palette that I use EVERY SINGLE DAY. I love to use the highlight colors for a brow bone highlight, I like the matte highlight to set my crease after I apply my primer, the bronzer is the perfect warm tone and don’t get me started on the contour. The color is the perfect shade of cool ashy brown, I found it extremely hard to find a good drugstore contour color until I found this gem at Walgreens. I honestly cannot live without it and what gets me is how you’re getting such great quality powders for such a low price. My only peeve is that you can’t get the pans separately. You can pop the pans in and out of the palette but they don’t sell them individually, therefore when my contour color is gone I have to pay $6 again just for that one powder. Buy it here or at your local Walgreens or Target.

Well that’s it for my favorite face palettes, I hope y’all liked this post. I will make sure to update more frequently now, since that was one of my new year’s “improvements”. If you have any questions or suggestions make sure to comment down below.

Ciao,
